NEW MOON: Okay, I’m OBSESSED now

I thought it would take me at least until the end of the weekend to read New Moon (the Twilight sequel by Stephanie Meyer)… dead wrong! I was so enthralled in it that I finished it last night (was it 4 days?) and I’m already over 100 pages into the third book. And now November 20th can’t come fast enough. Why? Because that’s when then movie comes out and I keep watching the trailer and getting goosebumps! I CAN’T WAIT! You’ll have to GO HERE to see, as YouTube has disabled sharing on it. I guess the new Harry Potter movie in July will tide me over for a bit though… the Twilight series is just as addicting though!

David’s not really happy with me for finishing it without him because he really enjoys it too! But there was no way I could wait to keep reading… and then, well… I just got sucked into it. BUT, he did say that now he may have to read it himself! SUCCESS (maybe)!!! I’ve been trying to get him into reading for so long and he’s not all that fond of it. Maybe this will break him in… not to mention that a guy who reads is so damn sexy (yeah, I know… I have problems).

If you haven’t gotten into this series yet, DO! I’m a sucker for vampire-related stories anyway, but it’s a modern day Romeo and Juliet, which they also reference quite a bit in the book, and it will have you facinated… I hate to admit it, but I actually cried too. Stephanie Meyer writes so clearly about emotions that you feel everything the characters do (well, or at least I did).

I’ll probably post in another few days when I finish the next one… or maybe I just won’t sleep tonight. Hmmm…
