Another

It came a little late since I was injured, but we finally got the outside of the house decorated for Christmas. Surprisingly, because we waited all the lights were on sale… BONUS!!! I went with some simple and easy net lights because we waited until the last minute. They are great, but boy do they make them small… I may have to get some more after the holidays so we don’t have to squish the trees so much. The pics are not great because I took them with my phone, but there is an evergreen swag on the door and some lit-up garland around the frame (I still need to make bows for the corners). I lit up the little live trees that we have on the stoop and brought out my medium-sized alpine trees to put next to them for added depth/height. It’s hard to tell from the pics but everything on the stoop is in white lights while the small bushes in front and the four off on the sides are in red. Next year I hope to hang wreaths in all the windows and do something more with the trees in the front of the yard. It looks pretty festive and we are happy. It certainly brings a little Christmas cheer. If we ever get a porch on the front, it will be truly stunning.
