Great Weekend

I had a really great weekend… David came to visit me and even though he wasn’t feeling very well, we did quite a bit. Friday night we took it easy and just caught a bite to eat. Saturday I showed him around the area where I will be living, as well as downtown, and introduced him to FUEL pizza and wings, which he loved so much that we ate lunch there twice! We also caught “Chuck and Larry” at the $2 theater and ate dinner at a local jazz club. It was fun and the music was okay, but the wait-staff was so slow and everything I ordered they either screwed up or didn’t have. Needless to say, I ended up having a salad and half of David’d meal. Sunday I took him to Reid’s market to show him my work and what I do. It was their holiday open house and we sampled so much food that I thought we were going to burst! Boy, was everything good! We also took part in their wine tasting which was a lot of fun. Before he had to get on his plane we stopped at the Rockbottom brewery and sampled their beers, which we did not care for at all, ordered a delicious BBQ chicken pizza for dinner, and watched part of the Colts vs. Patriots game. We had a really great time together and I think he is going to come back and visit me again soon… I hope so.
