Blondes have more fun…

Meet the new us… I took a little over $300 and got my eyes checked out (I was waiting for insurance that is no longer coming due to recent events), and so I now have glasses for my nearsightedness. I’m so happy to see again! It makes such a big difference!

And to make me feel better, Beth and I went to get out hair cut and colored (something I have never done). We were going to go totally blonde, but both our hairstylists adviced against it and we got highlights instead. Beth’s is way more blonde than mine (I am a little jealous), but I feel better with my typical flippy do. I just feel sexier in it. The worst part was that we were told by someone that this place was reasonable. Beth’s bill before tip was $190 and mine $165. YIKES! Not exactly what was planned, but at least we will always remember the day together and laugh. Surprisingly, this did not bring me to tears (shocking!).

And in some more good news, I got my passport in the mail today! It just sucks because I don’t know where I am going with it… I got it to travel with David for his new job. Oh well, at least I have it.
