So We Finally Got Our GPS

So we finally got the Garmin Nuvi 350. Ever since we picked the one we wanted, we have been watching the sale flyers. We were starting to think they never went on sale, but then for Mother’s Day… Circuit City finally marked the price down $50. YES! So we went and bought it, splitting the cost as a mutual birthday present (since they are coming up). It will be great for David’s travels because he can put it on pedestraian mode and walk with it, plus this one comes with maps of the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. We played with it last night and love it! I am psyched because I think it will really help me in the car when I am driving… especially since I have to drive to D.C. next weekend to move my sis. The biggest problem we foresee is that with David traveling so much, we may need to get another eventually…. maybe around Christmas when they mark so many things down. For now we will share and think it’s totally cool. It even has some bilingual dictionaries and phrases in it…. although we may have to purchase a full version to add, but this will be helpful for David who needs some help from time to time with Spanish, and a lot of help with Portuguese… which are both on there (or at least a little is one there). And I want to get the travel guide to add to it so that you can pull up info on area attractions, prices, times, etc. when traveling. I think this little toy was well worth it and will help us tremendously!
