National Scrapbooking Day and Arts in the Park

My first day at work went pretty good, but it was certainly a long day on my feet. My dogs were barking by the end of the day! I thought my feet were going to fall off! The store was no where near as packed as the Enchanted Cottage used to get, but the girls kept saying how CRAZY it was… I thought it was sorta funny. I used to work weekends like this from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. two days in a row, and all the while totally understaffed! We used to run like crazy trying to keep up! But all in all, the store was great and I go back tomorrow.

Today, I was actually off with David and we went to the Arts in the Park. It was such a great day… cool, but warm and a great day to walk. There were over 400 artists selling their stuff and it was pretty amazing and fun. I, of course, am a sucker for the glass jewelry and bought a few pieces that i LOVE! And there was stuff like this (so cool):

I think next year we may try to come up with something to try to sell there… my mom has these great bowls and my poetry stones would be GREAT! We’ll see when the time comes, but it’s only $160 for a booth. I think we could swing that. I am already looking forward to next year!
