Zen-Like Feeling of Decluttering

We had a very busy week last week (hence the no posting). We wanted to prepare for our family coming into town and had some areas of our life that never got “put away” from the last move. I guess the biggest problem was space, since this place is so small… well, that and we figured we wouldn’t still be here so we left some stuff in boxes. We finally bit the bullet and organized like crazy little fools. David went through paperwork from over seven years ago while I shred it, we both went to storage and emptied out some things we did not need to keep and made some space, and we eliminated a few smaller pieces of furniture that we just laying around. It feels so good! I love when everything finds it’s place and has a home. I love eliminating stuff and the zen-like feeling it provides. I love that Spring puts you in the mood to get all of this done, and I love that I now have a de-cluttered life (for now, anyway). I know that when we do finally make it to our next move, we can finish the process with ALL of the stuff in storage. It will be a big job, but I know we are up for it. It feels good… try it, you might like it!
