Interview Update

We just got back from my interview at WorldStrides. What a great company and such great people! I really hope that I get this job. They seemed impressed with my portfolio and didn’t ask too many of those crappy interview questions (i.e. if you were an animal, what would you be and why? You get my drift?). The questions were not hard to answer and I really feel like I have a chance. I also had a one hour InDesign flyer mockup and a simple webpage with a banner to create, just to show I knew the programs and I think I passed with flying colors. I had a few issues with the newer version of Dreamweaver and it took me a little longer than planned, but in the end I think I did what they needed. It was not to be graded as a creative piece, rather a functional one to see that I could do it. So keep your fingers crossed for me! They said there will be a second round of interviews and they made it sound like I would probably get a call back… gosh, I hope so! I don’t think I have ever wanted to work so badly for a company like I do for this one. Wish me luck! We need this!
